HEY I'M JAY

I am a 26 year old from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. I currently live in Ferndale, Michigan and I am an aspiring web developer and SEO expert. I have created this site to show off my coding skills as well as to tell a little bit about myself.

I went to Michigan State University where I got my bachelors degree in journalism with a concentration in media design. I learned many of the adobe creative cloud apps including dreamweaver, photoshop, illustrator, indesign and after effects. While I was in school I did many fun projects including building my own website from scratch. Taking these classes at MSU really inspired my to get into coding and make a career out of it.

In my free time I love to go to the gym, play video games, cook, watch scary movies and podcasts, play and collect yugioh cards, hang with friends, etc. I have a cat named moo moo who I have had for almost three years. I am a cat and dog person, so one day I would love to have a dog too!

In the future I want a career in web design and SEO. I am certified in HTML and CSS through W3SChools and I have a SEO certification through HubSpot Academy. I plan on taking as many courses as I can so that I can become an expert as I'm eager to learn and develop my skills.
